Casa Mesquite is a 7-year old custom furniture manufacturing company based in Douglas, Arizona, with its manufacturing facility located across the border in Agua Prieta, Mexico. The company is headed by Luis G. Cordova, master furniture designer, who has been in the business of envisioning, creating and building beautiful furniture in Mexico for 18 years. Mr. Cordova, a dual American and Mexican citizen, comes from a family rich in Mexican culture and has developed an understanding and genuine affection for the Baja and Loreto through several visits to the area over the last year.
Mr. Cordova has been working with some of the most prestigious designers in the Scottsdale and Tucson areas to create spectacular furniture with great design and functionality. His custom furniture is showcased in many beautiful homes in the Scottsdale, Carefree and Tucson areas.
Joining Mr. Cordova in this venture is Joel A. Sherman, who owns a custom Encantada in Loreto Bay with his wife. After many hours of furniture research and shopping, he retained Casa Mesquite to furnish their own home. After taking delivery, it was apparent that the combination of stunning hard woods, master design and beauty, along with great value and service, was a package too good to keep to himself. Mr. Sherman then became an investor and Director of Operations as it relates to Loreto Bay for the Casa Mesquite company. In this role for the past two years, Mr. Sherman is in charge of marketing and sales for Casa Mesquite, and has agreed to share this treasure with other home owners.

All goods that Casa Mesquite manufacture are backed by a 3-year limited warranty. In addition, as a furniture manufacturer, Casa Mesquite can custom build virtually anything that your mind or eye conceives. They also carry a complete line of hand forged metal lamps, bedding and patio furniture. Casa Mesquite is proud and excited to announce that their retail store is in the process of being built on the Paseo next to the medical center and should be open very soon.

joined the Cordova's 60 year old family business that ranged from
milling to making wood picture frames and moldings. In 1989 he
branched on his own creating his own company specializing in building
and manufacturing furniture. He has been President of Casa
Mesquite, Inc. for the last 3 years.

Born and raised on the East Coast, Mr. Sherman has spent the last 33
years in the Real Estate industry in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has

Arizona's number one real estate firm. He brings a wealth of
experience and knowledge to our company in addition to being a homeowner
in Loreto Bay.
